A known name in the Kerala pharma industry, M.V. Ramakrishnan Nambiar set up Link Pharma in 1980. He subsequently added additional pharma units and one in the surgical segment, viz Link Surgicals and Medi Systems to cater to the growing demands in the health care sector of Kerala.
He has been instrumental in defining industry practices in Kerala and has worked on streamlining the distribution value chain. He is an ex-governing member of the All Kerala Chemist and Druggist Association, North Malabar Chamber of Commerce, and Kerala Vyapari Vyasayi Ekopana Samithi, the largest trade body in Kerala.
The innovative ‘Vyaparotsav– 98’ was one of his brilliant contributions to the trading community, and was endorsed by the Govt of Kerala and re-presented in the state as ‘Grand Kerala Shopping Festival’; the biggest trade fair ever conducted in Kerala.
